Born in Germany in 1980 to a German-Iranian family, I grew up between two cultures and identified as a global citizen from an early age. Art has been part of my life since childhood -  I began painting on canvas at 14 - but I initially pursued a different path, completing a Master’s degree in Biology in 2006. To me, science and art share the same foundation: a fascination with detail. While science seeks objective answers, art allows me to explore and express the world subjectively. After meeting my husband on a visit to South Africa, I relocated to Cape Town in 2008, where I now live with him and our daughter in Hout Bay.

Today, I am a full-time artist, exhibiting internationally through the Travelling Art Gallery, which organizes pop-up exhibitions across Europe and the US. In Cape Town, my work is permanently exhibited at The Artist’s Gallery, where visitors can view my art and learn more about my existing works.
